Amaroo School presented its 2015
Reading Awards, named after Clea Salavert-Wykes. The winners in 2015 were Ethan
(Year 1), Alanah (Year 5), Isabelle (Year 8) and Jordyn (Year 10).
Congratulations to all of them and also to the other nominees who missed out on
the big prizes. They can all be sure the pleasure of reading is the greatest reward
any student can aspire to.
A BIG BIG thank you to Principal
Richard Powell, who will soon be retiring and leaving Amaroo School. He will
be badly missed, no doubt about that. Our gratitude, too, to the Amaroo Library
staff and the whole of the Amaroo School community for their ongoing support of
the Clea Salavert Library.
